Thank you for choosing the Mitchells & Butlers Retail Graduate Scheme. All our vacancies are for full time employment, and are based countrywide in the UK. The location where you complete your Graduate Training Programme is up to you. If we think that you have the right qualities then you will be invited to the next available assessment day.

Selection Process

Once you have submitted your application form and it is successful, the selection process is as follows:

  • Assessment Centre - These take place in September, January & April and will give you the opportunity to meet some of our Brand Representatives. These are held at our head office in Central Birmingham are very much a 2-way process: they are your opportunity to find out more about us, as well as our opportunity to learn more about you. We will send you more information about the assessment centre once your application is accepted.
  • Vacancy Interview - Once you have successfully passed the Assessment Centre, you are eligible to apply for Assistant Manager vacancies across our business. You will then have an interview with either the General Manager or Area Manager for that vacancy. For this interview you will need to complete a business plan.
  • Then, if you are suitable for that position, we should be ready to make you
    an offer.
