There are regular formal performance review stages within the programme which will assess your competency development and job performances against your Personal Business Objectives. This is an opportunity to discuss experience and issues and to gain a clear view of how your overall career development is going. Every graduate is given a rating after each review, so you will know exactly how well Mitchells & Butlers thinks you are doing.
There will also be regular salary reviews during your two years on the programme. Each new salary will be awarded according to performance.
At the end of the two years a graduate should be ready to take up their target level role. Once you reach this stage you have the opportunity to start advanced business education options. This is a clear indication of our commitment to learning, personal development and ambition. Getting onto the advanced courses is not automatic. Indeed, it is dependent on overall personal performance. However for those that show potential and have performed well, support is available.
